The Concept of Money
Sunday, September 2nd, 2007I always think that my concept of money earning and usage is pretty genuine. Weird as it is, since I have juat coincidentally read the same concept from the Bible.
Sirach 5:1-2
Don’t rely on money to make you independent. Don’t think you have to have everything you want, and then spend your energy trying to get it.
Sirach 14:15
Some day all that you have worked for will be divided up and given to others.
So, I was right (sort of) : earn money enough for what you need, and don’t left it behind if you’re gone.
In addition, the best way to invest your money is :
Matt 6:20-21
Do not store up riches for yourselves here on earth where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal. Instead, store up riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are.
